all i see is info on the rccl app. what happens to the passengers on the ship who do not have a cell phone? not everyone has a cell phone

Things are still printed.  There are electronic bulletin boards in the elevator lobbies and by the MDR.  There are phones in the cabins and in the  hallways.  You can go to venues and book things there.

In the gift shop, they also sell carrier pigeons if you would like to send a message to someone back home.

They will enjoy their vacation, maybe even more so than the folks with a phone.

That's hard to gauge.  Maybe if had they used the app, they would be aware of a new activity they enjoy that was just added.  However, it was added to the app but not in the paper Cruise Compass.

 

Some like to read a book while on vacation.  Not my ideal time to read a book but we all enjoy our vacation in our way.  As someone else said it: "Same ship, different vacation."

Biker, who understands some folks can't imagine enjoying life without a smartphone, but, it does happen.
