How early can we plan on flying out of Seattle? I know The airport is not close to the port, and we will need to factor morning Commute traffic. Flying back to FL, so mid afternoon departure is essentially a red-eye for us.

thank you for your help.

Yes, seatac is very busy in the summer, especially on Saturday and Sunday when there are 3 ships in town.  During the weekday, traffic can be pretty bad as well, but generally the airport is in the opposite direct of Seattle traffic.  However, Seattle's traffic is now a little bit of all directions most of the day in the last 10 years or so.

I would recommend TSA precheck if you can get it.

Yes, Port Valet is a free service provided by the Port of Seattle.

Ferry_Watcher...just wanted to say "Thank you" for all your help.

We have enjoyed and learned so much from our cruises in an out of Seattle...and wouldn't be so brave without your invaluable tips.
