Nieuw Statendam Pool

I have seen some photos of the pool and am curious about what I think I see.  There seems to be a few rows of steps going into the pool, but I can't see how one would get out.  It looks like some seating above the steps, but that doesn't make sense to me.  Unless you have very long legs it would be difficult (impossible for me) to climb out.  I would love your thoughts.  Thanks.

There are steps and a handrail.  You should be ok.  Everyone else was.

I've sailed both the Nieuw Statendam and the Koningsdam, and assure you that in addition to both the steps you mention - with a handrail - there are two traditional ladders with handrails.

I would also suggest you bring water shoes.  It can be very slippery when you get out.
