dolphin encounter

Hi, Has anybody done this either here or Cozumel and is it ok for a 4 year old, she loves dolphins?

The one in Costs Maya is very small and at the port.   The better on is at Chankanaab Park in Cozumel.

They'll let under 5 year olds participate but must swim with an adult.

After doing one in Cozumel, I can't imagine doing one here after seeing the set up.  The ones in Cozumel are beautiful and much bigger.  I would definitely pass on the ones in Costa Maya.

I was trying to book Chankanaab via my cruise with RCCL but they are charging the same price for my 4 year old aswell and yet on the Parks website it should be free? Any reason for the full price?

And before you wonder why I don't book direct, I think I have to book via the cruiseline as she is not vaccinated yet.

Depends on which pier you are docking at.

RCCL or Carnival (International or Puerto Maya) 5-10 minutes.

The Downtown pier for NCL and other lines, add 5-10 minutes.

It felt like maybe only a mile on the cruise line's excursion shuttle, but I don't remember there being sidewalks if you are wanting to walk over.

Best to ask on Cozumel  board if you are asking about Chankanaab - as stated, depends which pier. 
 

About 3 miles from International, 6 miles  from Langosta.
