billslowsky Posted March 25, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 25, 2022 Is my understanding correct that for a cruise departing on Saturday, I can take the proctored eMed test at any time beginning on Thursday or Friday; for a Sunday cruise, any time beginning on Friday or Saturday? In other words, I don't half to wait until exactly 48 hours before departure, they're counting the "whole day"?
Husky1987 Posted March 25, 2022 #2 Share Posted March 25, 2022 Correct. I took mine at 6AM Pacific this morning for our Sunday Anthem cruise.

Still stressful! BTW, going to be chilly Sunday in Bayonne. Edited March 25, 2022 by billslowsky

To clarify, it appears you can't take it earlier than midnight of the time zone in which the cruise departs. So let's say the cruise departs from Florida on a Saturday, you can't take the test prior to midnight EDT on Thursday. 2
njkruzer Posted March 25, 2022 #5 Share Posted March 25, 2022 We did our test after midnight Miami time on12/28 for our 12/30 cruise. No problem. Driving the next day so was able to sleep not having to worry about what to do the next morning.
