I wasn't sure about the aquarium but after seeing your phots this aquarium is nothing like the ones I have been to. I hope to be able to squeeze it in.

I really like the big viewing at Disney World.  I enjoyed Seattle Aquarium just as much and some areas more.  I really like the outdoor area where you are right with them.  The Aquarium is well worth it.  These pics are not showing the full beauty of the place.  Would I do it again?   Yes and hope I have the opportunity to do it again.

Your Grandkids are going to love all these photos and videos.   Did your driver, Kensie, pick you up at the airport?

Get some rest, we will be here tomorrow.

Ps I sent message to host asking about badge for your live review.   Hope you don't mind but you definitely deserve one🤩

A few years ago my family sailed on the Oasis and they offered (for $5) rubber  braceletes to use instead of the original sea pass card.  I havent seen them on the past two cruises that I have been on but hey have been smaller ships.  Anyone know if the Ovation uses that technology?  They were so much more convenient than the card.  Just hold your wrist up to your door to your stateroom, show the bartender and they scan it, and never lose it:)  Just curious.

😆 She has been busy working in her family garden.   I need to post a pic of it at Dani's.

We are at my oldest DD house tonight.  We will see Driver tomorrow.   I bet Caden will love them the most.

I know what you are talking about.  I haven't seen them or heard of anyone say they are offered again yet.  I didn't notice them on this trip either but I really didn't think to inquire either.  I bet if they come available again a thread will blow up about it.  A lot want them back.

Peachpony - I researched on Google and discovered that the train tour is a 1/2 mile from the cruise terminal.  I guess I’ll double my pain medication and hopefully be able to walk the distance, unless they’ll let me park my scooter at the train station.  Hopefully that’ll be an option.

Trying to figure out how far transportation from ships is to RCCL booked excursions.  Can use my walker for short walks, scooter for longer walks. Was thinking the same about parking scooter at train station.

I hope you can bear with me. (sounds like something they would say in Alaska 🤣).
If you have ever been to Chihuly you will understand why am going to post what some may think are way to many pics.  The glass work is beautiful. I can say Chihuly will be a must stop again when I return.
If you have been to the Atlantis Casino on Paradise Island you will remember seeing the Dale Chihuly glass work. Here is a taste.  The meal is coming.

That s beautiful. Chihuly has some of the most spectacular glass displays I’ve ever have seen. We ere there is 2018. Would love to go back.

When we left Pike Market the walk up seemed steeper.

When we were in Seattle for our TP we stayed at the Mayflower Hotel which is at the top of this “hill”. Straight walk down to the Market and great location.

Loved the review and all the pictures.

We're staying at the Mayflower Park in September (first time).  Chose it for the location and the older style luxury vibe.  What did you think of it?

September is a great month for Alaska cruising.  Always warm as toast and smooth as glass seas.  Except for the Glacier days which are always chilly!  There people out on the boardwalk in Ketch in shorts/no shirt painting their shops and stuff.  I would always pick that month to cruise north.  On both no rocking hardly any waves at all anywhere.

This is good to hear.  Thought Alaska may be moving back to colder weather for our September cruise.  Will be nice if it's on the warmer side.

Were you able to get a reservation for the North Star and/or RipCord by ifly? Any of the paid dining options available for embarkation day? Hope you have a great time! 🙂

North Star was not working the whole time we were on board.  But we were able to book time on iFly - when we boarded the ship.

We don't have anything locked and I let the ladies decide.  Here are some of the ideas.  The Pikes market place to watch them throwing the fish.  The ferris wheel and near it the aquarium.  The space needle

We did the Seattle 3 hour tour through Get Your Guide - if you download the app you get a 10% discount.  We had hotel pickup as well.

On the Public Market Fish throwing - someone has to buy a fish for the fish to be thrown.  We always seemed to miss the throwing...but it was interesting.  We should have bought a fish and donated it or something.

I have to highly recommend the following for food in that area:  The Kells (Irish Pub) - I had the Irish Chowder and my husband had the Irish Stew, Piroshky Piroshky (I had the puff pastry (just dusted with powdered sugar) and my husband had the Apple Cinnamon Roll (delicious) - we got these to eat for breakfast the next morning at hotel, and we had lunch at Michou Deli - great 1/2 sandwiches/paninis (reasonably priced).
