Just Off Allure: Ask me anything

Hi! My friend and I just wrapped up our 6 day Western Caribbean with stops at Costa Maya, Cozumel and Coco Cay. Although we never got off at any of the ports, we had a great trip.  We were in a central park inside room, which I really liked. Lots of natural light,  a couch and a seating area by the window. It's a great alternative for those who don't want to spend extra for an Oceanview, but who don't like a regular inside.  We had the UDP and we're both Diamond (I'm casino prime as well), so no need for a drink package. Any questions? Ask away!

Mama Mia up and running?  Are they doing water show, or just demonstration?  Ice show the dice one?  DL still up on Viking deck or get moved like a couple other Oasis class ships did?

Why would you not get off in the ports?  They are all awesome!  Our DIL and her mom where on there also and they had  a blast.  They had a balcony and saw the aqua show and Mama Mia for sure.  Not sure what else they saw.  Allure is my favorite ship.

Mama mia is up and running and was great. There was an afternoon performance on the first sea day, and two evening performances.  The show is 2 and a half hours, so if you go, plan to have a chunk of time. The water show was amazing, and the ice show was.... the ice show. I appreciate how hard it must be to skate on that fake ice at Sea, but it's not really my thing. The DL was on 11, and it's two levels!! I think the suite lounge is where the viking used to be. 🙂

We had the same ports in November.  We went for the ship this time. We hadn't sailed her before. And it's super nice to have Oasis class practically all to yourself!

I had the same itinerary on Wonder and I did NOT get off for Costa Maya either.

Sometimes it is about the ship.   I am redoing Allure in 4 weeks after having sailed on her back in 2011 first season.  And lucky me I will get another crystal on her as well.

We did, and yes, there was a filet. We thought it was better than the one at Chops!

Thanks so much.  We will be having dinner there a couple of nights when we go on Allure next month and Giovanni's doesn't appear on the app, so I was wondering if it is closed or something.
