strange email

my husband and I each just received an email telling us they are looking forward to seeing us on the Pride casino in 200 days. It has a reservation number on the email. 

We dont have a cruise booked on the Pride. 

 

Anyone else get one of these emails?

Scam more than likely, email them back and request your booking number and see what happens.

I wouldn't email them at all. It confirms you received their spam. I doubt it came from Carnival. Who sent it?

About the last thing to do with a possible scam email is respond to it. Go to your Carnival account on-line. If the booking is not there try adding the booking. If it comes up check out the details. If it doesn't come up then it was just spam and forget the whole thing.

I got my "Welcome Back - we miss you already" email today.

 

I don't get on the ship until Thursday. 😏

I assume what the OP called the "reservation number" would be the booking number if it is a legit email. I have never heard of a reservation number with regard to Carnival. Whenever we book, from the first email acknowledgement onward, they always refer to the booking number.

I am going to Alaska this summer and was originally booked on the Freedom. That ship was switched to the Splendor. I have received a couple of emails about my upcoming trip on the Freedom but just ignored them. They also send me the same emails for the upcoming Splendor trip. I chalked them off to computer glitches.
