Good afternoon from south coast NSW. We visited Warnemunde in June 2018 whilst on a Baltic cruise on the Zuiderdam. It is a pretty little town and you can easily take the local train to Rostock. We didn’t fancy the long drive to Berlin. It was a beautiful sunny day, with a brisk breeze . The sandy beach is huge and there are hundreds of wind break little shelters. Rostock has a lovely ‘old’ town centre which was rebuilt in the old style after the war. We hoped to visit the Stasi Museum there, but it was closed for renovations.

Paulines favourite cousin emigrated to Adelaide 17 years ago because some of her husband's family lived in Perth and they had skills Australia wanted.

They always ask us to come out as it is a wonderful country.

We were in Germany (Nov 21-Dec.9) and were with you on the Rotterdam from Dec. 22-Jan. 9! 😊 It was a pretty busy season for us, LOL! 😄

Last day in Orkney and it was a day of visiting some ancient sights several over 5,000 years old. Rain alluded us today and even had a wee interval of sunshine. Different topography but beautiful with green pasture lands and rugged coastline.

Tomorrow it’s back on the ferry and touring Northeast Scotland.
