The best way would be go to a slot machine. Add $1000 from your room. Then cash out on that machine and take your card up to the cage and state that you want to cash out. Repeat as needed.

Your card would be locked and you would be prevented from future charges.  Now, you could put that on your card and go to the tables, then use those funds to get chips.
