Discovery princess embarkation lunch options

Wondering what our lunch options are.  Departing Seattle and check in time is 11am.  Would prefer not to eat at the buffet.   Thanks

In one of the midship dining rooms lunch is available between noon & 1:30 and at Gigi’s Pizzeria there is a multi course table service meal for no extra charge. Other options are the grill & pizza venues on Lido deck or at the International Cafe on deck 5 in the Piazza. We go to these dining locations to avoid the busy buffet.

I always have lunch in the dining room on embarkation day. It's such a nice, relaxed way to start the cruise.

Perfect! That's were we will be heading.  I much prefer the relaxed atmosphere of the dining room versus the buffet.

It is pretty much the same with any embarkation.  If you board with the earliest groups there will be a dining room (usually on the 6th floor) that will serve lunch until 1PM.  The crew will tell you (lie to you) that you have to go to the Horizon Court for lunch.  Get on as early as you can, get settled in your cabin before your luggage arrives, go to the 6th floor MDR and enjoy lunch.
