Would a CAS 20% off offer be in addition to the current website offers?

Just got off a quick call, but a long hold, with CAS and heard that I qualify for 20% off my next cruise. Before I call back, I figured I'd ask here. Does anyone know if it's worth booking via CAS if there's 40% off and multiple offers on the site? Would the 20% off be compounded on those website offers?

@dbdbI am currently booked on a CAS cruise on the Breakaway in December 2022.  The 20% off is off the current cruise far with the 40% discount.  Remember, the additional 20% is limited to Club Suite or below not Haven Usually.  It only applies to the actual fare, not the port or tax charges.  If you use an American Express Platinum Card, you will not get your perks because you have to book through CAS.

It is an excellent deal and you can always call prior to final payment for a lower price if on comes available. One more thing, always get the "Free at Sea" promotion not "Cruise Only".

Cruise well and enjoy every moment.

If you book through CAS, you will pay a $20.00 pp/pd administration charge.($140.00pp, $280.00 p/w for 2 people.) And CAS's cabin prices don't necessarily correlate with what is being offered on the web site. The best way to find out is to make the call. You'll probably come out ahead booking through CAS. Even if it is close, use them and you will, again, be in their system for future cruises. And you'll get the casino drink card and goodies delivered to your cabin. Plus priority boarding in some ports.

How many points did you have on your card to qualify for the 20% off?

Can you elaborate on the Casino Drink Card and the goodies?  I will be at Port of New Orleans, does that qualify.

Sthrngary- If you're booked book through CAS. as far as I know, everyone gets a casino drink card. There are different levels of cards ( low to top shelf liquors) depending on your tier status. You can also get water in the new cartons from the casino bar. ( I think they are 20 oz. I'm sure someone will correct me.) The casino will send goodies to your room. Chocolate covered strawberries, cookies, assorted chocolates, etc. Three times, if memory serves.

Not familiar with the Port of New Orleans. We sail from Boston most of the time, and have always had priority embarkation through CAS.

P.S. I look forward to reading your posts. Always very thoughtful.

@cruiserbear55Thank you for the response.  My question on the drink card was just out of curiosity.  it was the first I had ever hear of it and I love to learn new information.  My wife and I are completely spoiled so we did the "Free at Sea PLUS" package.  So that includes the Premium PLUS Beverage Package.  I have a habit of finding and drinking as much Tequila 1942 as I can find on the ship, LOL.

The Casino Goodies sound lovely.  Nice touch.  I failed to state, this upcoming trip on the NCL Breakaway is because my wife won the slot tournament on the NCL Joy last December. She has an entry in to the finals for $100,000.00 winner take all.  That will be a really fun event I am sure.

Thank you again for responding and it was must helpful.

Cruise well and enjoy every moment.

do they charge the admin fee if you're just getting the discount?  I thought it was only for the comped cruises.  I've only ever did comped (vs discount).

As I said above, I would call them. Get the answer from CAS. Then it will be the right answer!

In my experience, I have only had to pay the $20.00 pp/pd admin fee when I received a free/comp cruise.  If I am simply booking a new reservation, using CAS, I receive the 20% discount without an admin fee.
