Local Oysters.  I must be spoiled living near the Chesapeake Bay.  The oysters here were a bit underwhelming.

Finishing off the evening first with the Headliner, Dario “El graucho”.  We really didn’t know what he was going to do as he was labeled as a one of a kind act.  We were pleasantly surprised he was quite skilled and fun.

I only had one escargot order.  I was that full 😝

The duck terrine is back to where it was.  The last time i had it, i don’t know what happened to it.  It was totally different and not very good.  Its back!

Mojo pork chop.  this was decent this time.  It can be overcooked sometimes.

Bananas Foster.  Same thing.  It varies in quality.  This time it was good.

No Raisins in the yogurt parfait!!!  I hate raisins, but they previously pre-added the raisins in the granola.    In case you haven’t guessed, I hate raisins.

We are just wandering around and we found the Eastern Cemetery.  It was established in 1668.

The jaw dropping coincidence is that we *may* have found my wife’s great great great great great great grandfather’s grave.  the number of greats is significant.  But there maybe no way to actually confirm this at this point.

Lunch, if you can call it that, was had at Duckfat.

To be honest, I wasn’t hungry really.  We met up with a friend i had not seen in 28 years.  He gave is a mini-tour and we had lunch.

Menu

All we had was the poutine with duck comfit.  We also has regular fries with the flight of sauces.  Both were amazing.

I also got a milkshake.  Not just any milkshake.    Seasalt duckfat caramel milkshake.  The caramel is made with actual duckfat!

These better be good donuts.  They are supposedly gluten free for my wife.  Check out that line

How were the donuts? I’m so excited to go there before my lobster boat trip.

Did the line move fast?

You’re right.  I didn’t answer this.

The donut was awesome.  My wife thought the gluten free donut was amazing.  Its also proof that a good gluten free donut is possible.  Which is better than anything else.

Tonight’s menu in the MDR

This is the Salmon and shrimp fritters.  Don’t recommend.

Shrimp and Lobster bisque.  Do recommend.

Chicken Marsala is delicious.

I got two desserts.  The apple crumble was decent.  Could have been a little sweeter.

and the Eton Mess.  I’m not sure what its supposed to be.  It was mostly whipped cream with some fruit flavoring.  I called it a glorified puppucino.  If you don’t know what that it, its basically the dog treat they give dogs at Starbucks which is just whipped cream in a cup.  My dog LOVES it.

Also tonight, they did the parade in the MDR.  Last leg’s parade was better for some reason.  BF523180-1D16-454D-8D0B-5C747F90BDBE.thumb.jpeg.d4a45208fbfb2790810ad8d31a5d7bbb.jpeg

After dinner we wandered around.  We caught the Abba name that tune.  I know nothing about Abba so everything was Dancing Queen to me.  Wife liked it.

We saw this on the planner. 698BD78B-1B07-4C48-9E6F-101DCFF169C2.thumb.png.83575bf9752e1ac511da1966d6e625b2.png

Thought it was a James Brown tribute.  Nope, the musician was named James Brown.  Not sure if i am relieved or disappointed.
