A couple of questions with doing a 1st NCL cold New England Cruise! Ship has heat😀! Is it a really dry air heat?
For inside should I pack T's & light 3qtr sleeve shirts/light pull overs! Many layers/jacket hat & gloves going outside!

I generally I sleep with fan on should I pack small night table fan & possible humidifier both battery backup drive run!

I assume Haven pool & area nice & toasty! Are the outside pools heated? I hear they do deploy outside heaters, I assume mostly for restaurants for lunch?

How do you see menu’s when not @ the restaurant? Might they be on boards, tv’s & app?
Any helpful tips please. TYIA, Karen

Can some also discuss if NCL has a luggage disembarkation plan that you can pay a fee & have the bags sent to your departure airport? You have to go downstairs & find them? Is there a special Haven luggage area? TYIA

We'll be on a Canada cruise shortly and have been on a few previously.  The best idea is to layer.  I'm usually warm so onboard I'll probably be good with T Shirts, but will also take a light jacket or sweater.  I can layer that under another jacket for going into port.  Also, a waterproof jacket or poncho would  be a good idea.  And an extra pair of walking shoes, wet shoes are not fun.

If you're in the Haven, which it sounds like you are, the Concierge will have all the menu's for the specialty restaurants.  I can't remember if they are also on the TV.

I don't think there is a "luggage assist" after the cruise, but maybe someone else knows for sure.

There are thermostats in the cabins, but since I like a fan and DH likes it warm I usually bring a battery operated fan with me.  Never had any problem with humidity so can't help you there.

Hope you have a great cruise!

Looks like you are "Breakaway" sailing late in the Fall season to Canada / New England out of NY - most definitely, look at the weather forecast 2 to 3 days prior ... before finalizing your packing of clothes, dress in layers when going ashore.

Unlike the Joy, I don't believe they retrofitted the BA with outside heater on the waterfront and/or deck deck for those chilly & cold days but I stand corrected, should someone recently on the BA can confirm otherwise.

There has NEVER been (AFAIK) any kind of luggage transfer or forwarding services in NY, unlike port of Seattle and most definitely, none whatsoever this year (3 cruises out of Pier 88 ...)  There are porter services inside the cruise terminal to assist.

The reservation desk onboard will have all the venue's menus available, and at least the specialty restaurants will have their menus shown on the stateroom's interactive TV ... the Norwegian App has been hit-n-miss as far as properly shown the menus.  On our 2 earlier cruises this year, they also have QR codes - changed out as appropriate for the MDR ... breakfast, dinner and lunch - to scan with your smartphone/iPhone, but not most recently last month on the Joy - for whatever reasons.

If and when it rain, NCL will have for sale, those disposable rain poncho near the gangway as you exit to go ashore.

I gather this question is about the heating system on the ship?  Most of the air is recirculated through steam heaters, similar to what hot water baseboard heat is like in Mass.  The fresh air is slightly cooled by the AC to drop the humidity, and then heated by steam heaters, much like a mini-split heat pump does in Mass.  Relative humidity will be in the "normal" range.

Just got off the Breakaway. It’s very comfortable in the Haven staterooms, cool to chilly in the restaurant and humid near the enclosed pool. Do not go to the American Diner. It is totally outside and freezing and you can get a much better burger in the Haven restaurant. We got off September 25 and it was cold in Canada. Few people brought appropriate outerwear and there was a lot of grumbling and Bar Harbour Maine sweatshirts. You need a hooded rain resistant lined jacket.

TY for this info! A couple more questions maybe you know is their Stevia sugar onboard! In the gym I believe their is a vending machine is there sugarfree Gatorade & water, water+? By way does anyone know where the Gatorade falls into any of the drink packages? Yes, I'm  Breakaway 10/30, Haven.
