Kids went back to play and I walked to the beach. It was pristine but I preferred the sand at HMC. Looked over at the Cable Beach area, pretty busy. Walk the bridge back.

The snorkel area for Atlantis had a lot of sea life available. Sadly, we didn’t go in there.

Nice to see that Atlantis has not changed since I was there in 2003!

Then it was time to dry off and make our way back through the hotel. Took some photos to remember our day here. We enjoyed it. Is it over priced? Yes, but I’d like to go back and stay a long weekend.

Took the taxi back and stopped at the straw market to get some souvenirs. Found some really impressive hand painted items we grabbed for people covering cheer coaching for me. Also grabbed a Sand’s. The kids got some tshirts and stuffed animals.

Back to the Dream and we have “friends?” Here too.

Favorite towel animal so far. And I’m having a patron margarita. All caught up.

Doing a little bit of work on the Lido. Apparently it rained right as we were leaving Nassau. Lots of mopping and wiping going on. Also listening to steel drums.

It is really nice. There were some things that I thought needed upgrading and updating. The signage was missing letters in several areas. They are remodeling the casino. It’s very Vegas meets the beach. I hated that the big slide wasn’t working, but it happens. At first I thought we had to rent the tubes and DH wasn’t happy about that. But they were included. There were a lot of workers not working… on their phones, just talking to each other, etc. I know that’s everywhere but it was noticeable. We would ask questions about where slides ended and what not and they couldn’t answer. If I take my kid to the top and I don’t wanna ride, they should be able to tell me where they are gonna land.

Not gonna lie, for the first time ever, I’m pretty excited about 2 sea days. I don’t have to pull the kids outta bed to get to somewhere on time. 4 ports in a row with the kids and cheers is… something else.

Update from Raj: the $15 fish was NOT in the crew mess. It was at restaurant in Freeport that he goes to every time he’s there. He said it was excellent.

Owin went and ate in Nassau today. Raj made me this clear patron margarita. Hope my Atlantis fries hold me over til dinner.

This is a free and happy place. Only comment that slightly offended me was the one that said Stewart and mustard were an “attempt at humor”. I am actually funny, I think. I am to myself and I’m the only person I have to live with 24/7. 😉

It’s my favorite. I was thinking that I hadn’t had a “local” beer on this cruise. It’s the wine cooler of the Bahamas.

First slide we did was on the tube through the shark tank. At least 7 sharks in there swimming all around. Pretty cool. Over you, under you, by you. We did it several times. Then we headed over to the challenger slide where you race down. The big temple slide was closed today. Sad we missed it but I’m not sure I would do it anyway. 😆 Then we headed over to the Abyss and the rapids. 

The lazy river there is absolutely the best one I've ever been in. Did you partake!

Megan - I'm really enjoying your review.  Your kiddos are just adorable and make me remember how much I enjoyed cruising with my two.  Mine are 31 and 33 - enjoy every minute with your littles.
