Photograpy

Some of us enjoy having photos taken; others, think that's just annoying; we all have different opinions. We are of the former, so, question...we don't see a photography package [like dinner package, beverage package, etc.], offered on our reservation.  Is it because Celebrity hasn't gotten around to hiring a photography company for the cruises; or, have they simply gotten rid of it?  Anyone have any info on this?  Thanks all!

We sailed Edge in Feb, there were photographers all around every night.  We bought a package on board and also had a professional shoot done and ordered an album.  I think it's just something you do once onboard.

There are photo packages offered for both my November cruise on the Constellation and for my spring cruise on the Eclipse.  It's under the photo section in the cruise planner.

Wow, I never thought about it until I saw this, I was on a Viking Expedition cruise last month and there were no ship photographer/s.

There was a gaggle of so-called photographers with expensive cameras on our 21 September Summit cruise. In the dining venues, public places on the piers. IMO, where the photographers and park west are set up is a waste of good space that could be utilized a lot better.

They seem to have cut back quite a bit on photography, but the package is a good value especially if you get an Elite discount (40% off) but you have to buy onboard to get that.

Which ship are you on.   I have seen it on every cruise we have been on and just checked Solstice December cruise -   Currently on sale

Which I realized in August it was better to wait and purchase on board for the 40% off Elite discount.

Hmm.. interesting didn't realize the onboard discount.  Thanks for posting.

 

What I don't understand is why the Photo book is less expensive to the package without the book.   You still can download from both packages.
