Is this charger permitted? Put in carryon?

I know there are only two US plugs on Meraviglia.  Is the 4 USB port charger permissible?

 

Can we use the usual shaver type plug in bathroom to charge phones? 

 

How about using a standard Euro to US adapter to be able to charge with that plug?

I believe you can use any charger that does not have surge protection.

Put it in your carry-on anyway.  I had a heat pad in my checked luggage once and it was not a fun walk to the 'naughty room'.  Better to have it in your hand luggage 🙂

We've used a very similar plug without issue. We've also used the EU plugs for a similar adapter. The shaver plug in the bathroom doesn't charge phones, if I recall correctly

There are also USB outlets on Meraviglia (standard 500 mA, slow loading for an iPad...) and other MSC ships built after Meraviglia (think she was the first to have).

Just off the Meraviglia. One USB outlet in our YC suite and two US outlets. We bring similar chargers for our phones and other equipment.
