Nice start and safe travels.   will keep abreast of your journey , and the NYE cruise. We're on board at end of January.  Same Itinerary (with San Juan).  You can watch sports at Heros and get service from P&A.  Great loungers and seats.  Better than some sports bars.

sounds awesome. Really hope to get a spot at Heroes. Between college football, NFL, and the World Cup we have some awesome sports going down!

Did they give me an actual key on a lanyard? You bet your sweet you know what they did. Classy. Timeless. Secure.

Not sure of your dining plans, but if you want to escape the resort, a short way down North Orlando ( just past the split from North Atlantic) is 4th Street Fillin Station with pretty decent burgers and such.  A bit further down is Slow and Low BBQ which isn't Texas Q but good enuf.

Heading north about a mile is Florida Fresh Grill, if you feel like splurging a bit.

Don't get hooked into Time Out Sports, JT's or Cocoa Beach Sports Pub.

I had a little dilemma. I slept like trash last night cause I was so excited, and once I sat down in the room my body just wound WAY down and felt immediately comfortable… but the weather is picture perfect, so I’ve decided to force myself to walk a half mile or so down the road to the tiki bar at the Hilton.

passing the steakhouse here at OL….

headed north toward the Hilton, weather is beyond reproach

Ice Cream Hut must kill it on a hot summer day

Made it to Longboard! Let’s kick it all off with a rum runner, shall we? “On the rocks has way more alcohol” she says…. Sold!
