"All inclusive" .. is it worth it?

We just got off the Wind Surf yesterday and I had the wine/beer package (no liquor) and my wife did not as she does not drink as much.  However being on the package allowed me to buy wine for her at 30% off and that's what we did all week.  It's a bit more logistics and your need to remind the bartenders the first few days of the arrangement, but it was well worth it

For those people who are taking back-to-back cruises, you can choose to buy the AI for one of the segments, and not the other.  We did that when the first segment was port intensive so, to us, it didn't make sense to buy the AI for either of us.  On the second segment, which was a 14 day TA,  it did make sense for me to purchase the package as I prefer hard liquor, and some cocktails.  My DH, who drinks mainly wine made good use of the "wine by the bottle" offerings they had onboard.  This approach worked well for us.
