Diamond Lounge on Brilliance

Hi all,

 

We are going on RCL for the first time since 2008.  We are Diamond but have been cruising on NCL because of a not so great experience on Adventure almost 15 years ago.  I honestly don't remember much about the Diamond Lounge. Can someone who has been on Brilliance fill me in on where it is, when we can go there and how it works? I think I remember breakfast being served there and it used to have an open bar at night.  Thanks for your help!

Just off the Brilliance.

Diamond Lounge is on deck 13 overlooking the pool area.

Never visited @ breakfast because the coffee machine was always “out of service”.

Evening was open from 5-8pm .

Nice selection of appetizers that changed up every day.

No open bar , just use your daily Diamond Coupons.

Slow bar waiter service (as all bar waiter service since the Beverage Packages.)

Actually the lounge is open all day but only staffed in the morning and evening.   Sometimes,  when coffee macine is working, sometimes a pleasant place to hang out.  Sometimes cookies appear early in the day.

Great attentive DL hostess who goes around every table. The overspill is into the VCL so you get quicker service if you sit at the bar.

That's what we had on the Jewel for the crossing in April/May

The coffee machine was supposed to be fixed (debarked on 12/15)

If not repaired, the Concierge Lounge door will be unlocked to access the machine.

Continental breakfast available; muffins, pastries, bagels, fruit cups, musli, cheese, cold cuts, lox & cream cheese 

 

Evening hot and cold snacks available along with sweets. 
I always find it more convenient to take a plate to the bar. Better beverage service

 

The 1st is always crowded, the VCL is a good spot to view the Skyway bridge

Coffee machine in DL on Serenade...same thing.  Always out of milk in the morning, half the time shut off (supposed to be 24 hour) and the rest of the time...broken.
