Imnotyou3 Posted January 13, 2023 #1 Share Posted January 13, 2023 Aloha Friends; We will be staying in a room on the 11th floor forward (not in a suite) on the Koningsdam. Is there an umbrella supplied in each room? Or, do the 11th Floor balcony rooms - not a suite, have an umbrella for use? Thank you, Ruth
oakridger Posted January 13, 2023 #2 Share Posted January 13, 2023 Hi again Ruth. I answered your question on the other thread you started on this topic. Check over there. Don't worry, you will get the hang of posting on here with some practice!!! 🙂 ~Nancy
REOVA Posted January 13, 2023 #3 Share Posted January 13, 2023 If you don't have umbrella in room there is a bucket at the gangway filled with umbrellas (first come) which is easier than carrying one up to cabin, especially if wet.
SilvertoGold Posted January 13, 2023 #4 Share Posted January 13, 2023 Should be. We had an umbrella in the closet in all our staterooms on the Koningsdam last year. If not, ask your room steward.
legalsea Posted January 13, 2023 #5 Share Posted January 13, 2023 We just got back from the 9 day San Diego round trip cruise (December 29th to January 7th). Yes, in our cabin there were two umbrellas, and binoculars. Great cruise. My only gripe: my wife likes to order a 'dirty martini' with olives. The bars simply dump the olives in the glass: no toothpick. If you ask for a toothpick to hold the olives, they will stick a piece of skinny pasta into the olives. Which soon deteriorate. Moral: take your own cocktail picks with you. My wife vows she will do so in future.
