For anyone who's sailed out of los angeles (well, long Beach or whatever), is there a seperate line and boarding for suite guests similar to Florida departures?

Yes...Very easy to spot the signage for Suite entry outside the terminal. Once you go through the door into the terminal walk straight ahead. Just cruised out of San Pedro onboard Navigator Jan 20th-27th.
