On the Vista this past December my son and I did the martini tasting at the Alchemy bar and they had him do the pour like that. He had 8 shakers like that and I was just thankful he was pouring and not me.

Good morning. I got some much needed sleep. A solid 8 1/2 hours. Which is about my maximum. 

We’re going through some rough waters or something. There’s a lot of movement. Occasional BANGs and my hangers are rattling. 

On top of that Stewart is vacuuming the hallway and I hear a lady come up to him. “Good morning! How are you? Can we get some more towels please? All I need is one bath towel and two hand towels.”

 

So far this morning I miss the quietness of my celebration room. I would think this would be a quiet one. I have no neighbor on one side. Two older ladies on the other side and no room across from me. I guess we’ll see how it goes the rest of the week.

A little of both. I’ve been up an hour and a half. Had to reconnect to get internet working. Then I forgot cc isn’t working on safari so I’m on chrome now.

That drink is actually blue curacao giving it the color. It has a hazelnut flavor. I forget what the ingredients are. But yeah it looks like the mint drink but it’s not mint at all.

He also gave me the correct tickets. I guess the two envelopes were stuck together. I gave the other one to Stewart on my way out this morning.

Did some unpacking, room straightening, showered, shaved, etc before heading out.

I heard some talk in the elevator that seemed to indicate some of the coffee machines in the buffet aren’t working. Maybe the guy just ran into one of the machines that were shut off. A lady in the elevator had found her buffet coffee.
 

 

at this point the fun times weren’t updated so I grabbed a picture of the paper copy at the coffee shop. It has since been updated so I won’t have to use that.

It took about 8-10 minutes to get a brunch table. I was about to grab a screwdriver at the casino bar but I got my notification and headed down.

I'm not sure if Opera works on iphone, but that's the only browser I use for Cruise Critic anymore...

I flew in day-of for my November Magic cruise for the same reasons - expensive hotels.  Was certainly nervous doing it, though. The last shuttle I booked was leaving at 11:30, and my plane was landing at 11:10.  I did make it before 11:30, and then paced waiting for the shuttle.  Started to worry that I had missed it and called the company a couple of times only to be able to leave a message. Shuttle finally showed up at noon.

That might be cutting it too close for me. I liked landing before the 10 shuttle knowing 11 would be there as well.
