The bus doesn't take credit card. In fact, the bus ride is just EC 2.25 equivalent to US $1

We did this a few years ago...just be aware that the bus sits there until it fills before it leaves (our experience) I t took at least 1/2 hr to get to valley church. It was  an interesting adventure (quarrels between some of the locals). You can save money but if time is a factor not worth it for us

A word to note that the beach has had some erosion since last year. We went there and couldn’t get in the water. A big drop off when entering the water and ocean was quite rough. Some people needed rescuing to get back to shore. Apparently Ffrys beach was just as bad! I had been to Ffrys a few years ago and was absolutely pristine. Not anymore. I guess the storms have done some damage to the shorelines!
