Online Check-in

Could someone tell me what documents I will need to complete the online check-in please ? 
We’re based in the UK, if that makes any difference. 
Check-in opens over the weekend, but we’re away and I’d rather not take passports etc with us if I can help it. 
Did I read somewhere that you can select a boarding time in the app and complete the full check-in later 🤔

As far as I remember you can just check in to get your boarding time and complete the rest later. You could also give your credit card details but leave the other stuff until you get back. Hope that helps. My check in opens tomorrow!

You can definitely just select your check-in time then go back later to complete the other steps.

You need just the numbers to complete the check in.  Just type in the number and issue and expiry dates.  Hopefully have a photo on your phone of each to upload.

 Makes no difference where you live.  Same procedure.

The checkin took me 5 minutes.  All done except health check just before boarding.  Not worth waiting to complete later.

I just did checkin for our cruise week and a half ago for each person in our party.  I snagged the times I wanted for everyone and then in the days that followed everyone went back in and finished completing the rest of their information.

I’ve have photos of our passports, so hopefully I can complete check-in, but worst case I can book boarding times and sort the check-in side of things next week.

You can definitely select a time when it first opens and then come back anytime up until 48 hours before cruise and fill in the rest.  Remember to select a time for each guest individually.

 

Generally once you get to the point of completing you will need

 

Passport - With the phone app you can scan the code at the bottom and it fills in for you

Credit Card

Home Address

Emergency Contact name and phone number

I found it hard to scan my passport.  My partner said it was easy.  But I have a bit of a hand tremor.

I find that if you move in or out slowly until the barcode is in the brackets it scans quickly.  It's a lot easier than filling in the information manually which is also an option.
