Royal Class, Marina deck noise?

Looking at upgrading to a mini suite on the Regal on the Marina deck. Just wondered how noisy they get from the Lido deck up above. We have stayed many times in an aft mini on the Grand and Crown class above Club Fusion and it hasn't bothered us, but thats music and not chairs scraping. Any thoughts?

What is the cabin number? We were on the Enchanted Princess a year ago in a Marina deck mini-suite in the 200 series.  It was very quiet. IIRC there were cabins above us.

It's in the 300 range, looks like under pool deck.

It sure does since the forward Lido cabins stop at 301.  I wouldn’t risk it.

Cabins above, cabins below, and cabins across the corridor is the best way to go.

 

Why across the corridor too?  I don't trust those blank areas on the deck plans.  Wound up across from Stewart's Scullery and Mop Sink on an early cruise.  Never again.

Think we'll go with the Riviera Deck. Thanks for feedback. Was once 2 decks below the Pizza area on a Carnival ship and it sounded like a bowling alley.

We just got off yesterday and were in a standard balcony right directly under the Horizon Cafe (buffet). M628. I can honestly say it was NOT noisy in the least - we were in the cabin at various times of day, and of course all night and early morning. Not until debarkation did we hear any sound from above and even then, it was only a few scrapes and thuds; nothing that would have kept us from sleeping.

under the pool deck you'll hear them dragging pool chairs around about 6 am daily as they set up for the day.
