Count us in for the July 31st sailing. Will be myself, DH, 17yr old daughters, 21yr old son. Will be girls in Cabin #6319 the guys in a TBA Cat 4. We booked these at separate times obvioulsy. We are 54 days and counting. We gave employee discount for hotel but willbe parking at the pier. We were disappointed in the Key West to Costa Maya change but will enjoy all the same. Our last cruise was Destiny in the '99. Daughter 1 has not cruised before neither has son. So they are apprehensive. I cant wait!!!

While sailing on the Glory (Starting Saturday) I'll purchase a large block of minutes and do lots of live reports from the Glory starting Sunday morning. Stay tuned.... be ready to ask your questions!

I tried to do alive report from the Glory when we were on and I couldnt said moderators have made this a read only thread..I thought that was really weird..goodluck posting live!!

Great to see another joining us on the Glory! There are a few of us here that have posted on the roll call board.

My wife and I have done a Valentines week cruise the past two times, and just booked a third this week on the Glory. (With a little three day on the fantasy in September to hold us over!) It’s a great time of year to go. The rates are not all that bad, and it’s a slow time of year for both my wife and I.

CAN NOT WAIT!!! We leave the kids with Grandma and Grandpa and we are a couple again. Best vacation money can buy!!!

Good thread Mocka! We are sailing the eastern on 11-27-04 and really looking forward to the Glory. I have friends sailing this week and asked (Begged) her to please bring me all the Capers so I can really get in the swing of things!

We always bring wine, water and Pepsi (Husband has to have that stuff for his bourbon!) in our carry-ons and the liqueor wrapped in bubble wrap and ziplocks in the suitcases. We've never had a problem on Carnival, but did this past January on NCL, they are a lot stricter. We also usually tip our waiter and assistanta little right at the start of the cruise and have never been charged a corkage fee.

The Glory is AWESOME! I don't know yet what ship we'll cruise on next year, but I will definitely consider the Glory. Absolutely my FAVORITE ship so far!

Hi Jane. We are also cruising on the Glory 11/27. You will love it. We cruised on the Glory Thanksgiving week last year and are going back for more. We should definitely set up a Cruisecritic get together for all of us sailing 11/27. Is it just going to be you and hubby? My DH and I are sailing with our two kids, 12 and 2, but I am hoping they will keep busy with Camp Carnival to give us some alone time.
