DEEP BLUE EXTRAS EXTENDED

Perks until the end of 2023.

Through our Match and Sea More Program, Sailors enrolled in select rewards programs and who come aboard our lady ships, are eligible to be automatically enrolled in our Sea Rover program, plus they’ll unlock access to Deep Blue Extras (like an exclusive cocktail event, drink credits, laundry service, and more) if they sail by December 31st, 2023. 

Loyalty Sailors can also unlock Deep Blue Extras perks as a Sea Blazer (our pioneers who sailed with us in 2021) or as a Sea Rover (those who have sailed with us at least twice between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2023).

After, so you do two to qualify and get the perks on the third.

 

Unless you sailed in 2021 when just one 2021 sailing is enough to get perks.

I just checked my add-ons for my May 3rd cruise and DBE are not showing up yet. I will text my TA (who is currently on board Scarlet now) to confirm if I’m am going to get DBEs for this cruise.

The list of perks, etc. is basically unchanged other than the dates.  The expiration date has now been changed to 12/31/2023.

Good news. I called Sailor Services who was able to add DBE to my May 3rd booking so extension confirmed.

I know the boarding lines ultimately don't matter too much, but if Spouse A is a sea blazer, and Spouse B has never sailed, can they both go in the DBE boarding line?

if your in the same cabin then yes, but if your a different booking or cabin I doubt it, as the perks are by cabin, and not by sailor.

if in doubt, get them to call VV as if they say it’s the lead passenger who is the sailor that it’s based on, ask them to just swap the same sans confirm. 
 

it should be showing in the add-ones a few days before the voyage but VV will see it in the backend and can confirm.

Did you see a discount code?

 

Florida residents were getting a 10% then 5% discount but I had to place my booking on 24 hour hold and call sailor services twice to apply these discounts??

An access key will be shared “shortly”, and you can also call up the sailor services as they know it’s coming.

As Lustate said, yes, provided both are in the same cabin.  If not in the same cabin, only the Blazer will get the perks.

I've already got the earliest boarding time, which is 1:30 for "non Rock Stars", so I wonder if the expedited boarding will add up to anything. Does anyone who's sailed with these perks have any insight? I've always ended up right on the heals of the Rock Stars when boarding anyway, due to having the 1:30 check in time.

We've had the 1:30 time with DBE on 2 cruises.  In each case, we boarded immediately after the rockstars and  with those who had purchased the Romance at Sea package. Those with 1:30 terminal arrival times boarded right after we did.....so "Sailor's Club" (another name for DBE) went before 1:30 peeps.  In Miami, Rockstars had a separate line and "holding area" prior to boarding.

The same happened on our current cruise where boarding for everyone was delayed until 2:45...the same order was followed.

At least in Miami, you don't get in the outside lines at all.

Go to the front and they'll check your name on a list.

Sometimes you're not on there and they'll need to check with someone.

They'll give you a DBP wristband and line you up in the lower lobby.

I was in this same scenario in April, (my 3rd sailing, BFFs 1st, same cabin), I was given the wristband, but we were both given the "perks" as those are per cabin, including priority boarding.

So if I do June and December 2023 cruises, I would not get the DBE.? Can I book a third cruise before 10/31/23 to be taken by 4/30/24 to get the DBE?

so if you currently have no status, you would need to have completed two qualifying voyages by 31/12/23. You cannot use access codes, and no friends and family or free voyages or extra discounts such as casino comps.

 

On your third voyage you then get the DBE, as you would be a sea rover status.

 

The third voyage would need  to be completed by 31/12/23 for DBE, as DBE end then.
 

You can make any of the three bookings combining and stacking offers like the current air credit one, or the solo traveler one.

You have two ways to get DBE now.  If you have high enough loyalty status on any other cruise line, you can apply to the status match and you will get DBE on your first cruise and every other cruise in 2023.  You'll find status match application on the VV site under Loyalty, then "learn more," then scroll down to the match.

If you do not qualify for a status match, you can get DBE by doing two cruises....and you'll get it on your third.

Just to make the terminology clear....2 cruises before the end of 2023 OR the status match makes you a "Sea Rover," and Sea Rovers get DBE.  They also get a $100 bar tab bonus on each $300 tab purchased thru 2024.  And then, just to make life more confusing.  both Sea Blazers and Sea Rovers are part of Sailing Club...which is likely to be their name for the overall loyalty program which is yet to be released.  Sea Blazers are people who cruised in 2021.
