Do you know if 7299 was updated? It’s close to you. Thanks.

I’m not sure, I haven’t been by there or gotten to peek in. I’m not sure what was or wasn’t done to the cabins, it seems hit or miss. Ours isn’t updated (the bedding is) in obvious ways, but it’s very comfortable and everything works

One of the best parts about spirit class is walking out of the restaurant on 3 and immediately take three steps out to this….

IMO across all cruiselines the +/-90,000 ton ship Class ship is the penultimate size cruise ship. Carnival Spirit Class, Royal Radiance Class, NCL Jewel Class. At 90,000 tons it's big enough to offer a few bells and whistles but small enough not to be overwhelming.

It’s been a busy few days with lots of steps and lots of activity. Full bellies and a couple glasses of wine and warm showers later, looks like this could be a 10pm white flag. Gotta pace yourself on a trip like this.

Porto tomorrow. Actually we dock at Leixoes, where you aren’t allowed to walk around in the port area. Apparently we have to jump on a one minute long shuttle ride to get outside the gates, where we can get a cab or bus for the half hour into Porto. Apparently the town right there has a good beach a five minute walk away, but we have big plans with tickets to that famous library and then a city food tour through Viator.

Tomorrow night is Deal or No Deal and Love and Marriage, which we really enjoy, so we’ll try to hit those (especially L&M, we missed that on Miracle last summer so I’ve never seen Frankie do it).

Thank you, but just to clarify was the locker room actually given a facelift/renovated?

Someone in our sailing fb group  said the Pride will have a sauna and showers but they aren't working and why they were working on them...and why I couldn't get in there.

How do you plan to get to the library? FYI when we were there last year it took awhile to get a cab or Uber , so just heads a up.

This is what the locker room looked like on the Pride. This is where the lockers are.

This is not what the women's room looked like now.  They are grey and modern looking.

thanks for that. We’re going to try to be among the first groups off at 10am tomorrow, so hoping there will be cabs there. On the way back, we’ll likely get an Uber in Porto.

it’s been a mixed bag, we had pretty long wait times in Barcelona (no doubt affected by the whole cab situation and a very crowded time), but two Ubers today in Lisbon were lightning fast and cheap.

Most likely the shuttle bus will drop you off at the little circle near where the restaurant Themel is on the map. With all the people getting off the bus it will behove you to walk up that main St 2 blocks to the big traffic circle near where the McDonald's is located. That's where we got our Uber. On the way back we got a Taxi from Porto and they are allowed to drop people off right at the cruise terminal. They just can't pick up at the cruise terminal. At least that was the rules last year. We actually walked from the cruise terminal to the port entrance since the shuttle bus was full. But the road is narrow and there's no proper walkway, so not pedestrian friendly nor safe
