MDR classics on the Infinity

All - I haven’t been on board a ship since mid-March, but apparently the MDR has taken classic desserts down to two. Hope you weren’t a cheesecake or chocolate cake fan (hint: that’s everyone in my 10 person traveling party). Our waiter confirmed that they are limiting classics, and he felt confident the other two might reappear, but not on this cruise.

I’m curious if this is the case fleetwide? I’m heading to the Eclipse next Sunday and will be so sad for two weeks instead of one if this is the case.

This was not the case on the April 21 and May 6 sailings on the Millennium.. We had the full classic dessert menu.

Yes it was introduced fleet wide at the very end of May.

Sad to hear it. I’m usually a spoiled luminae diner as of late but being back in the MDR I was looking forward to my favorites. Time to book up some specialties.

I know some folks think this way these days but I find that a bit sad.

I agree but it has come to that, at least for now. I just hope cruisers do the survey they get emailed to them at the end of the cruise. Celebrity does pay attention to them!  It's the best way to show any issues with food, service, entertainment, etc.

Thanks for the linkup. I missed it but it’s a nice summary.

desserts also gone on the Eclipse. But curiously the kids menu has retuned its missing items.

Chocolate cake was available on May 31 on Infinity:
