Knives allowed in public area?

I guess all Scots will cheer now at formal night when dressing in national livery. Knives seem ok. Today at Jewel ots guest services knives were already welcomed

Those are technicians who were working on something that would require the use of a knife  on board and those are merely tools of their trade

That is def not the point, and not what KBonner meant, it is the irony, that they are allowed with "weapons" in the public areas and a scotsmen in his kilt and decoration knife is not allowed to wear it.

Those aren’t weapons.  Those are tools.   There’s a difference.

And a "decoration" knife on a kilt is no less a weapon than a workman's utility tool. Try wearing that "decorative" accessory through airport screening in Scotland and see if they consider it a "decoration".
