on Carnival Celebration we had speeds up around 138 mbps. Just off MSC Meraviglia we had speeds of about 2-3 mbps.

 

I’d consider the speeds on Carnival blazing fast for a cruise ship.

Fast enough that I can steam shows, YouTube, upload photos and video to Facebook, etc. Web surfing pretty instant.

You are unlikely to get Celebration like speeds - most recent reports have speeds below 10Mbps, which is still the well above usual 4 Mbps throttling on some/most RCI ships.

It's been hit or miss with Starlink for me so far. Pretty good on Indy last December, but not great on Harmony in January.

For the vast majority of uses, even the 4 Mbps limit on most ships is plenty - the big improvement on the older ships was the much lower latency of Starlink, not the download speed. Reliability and availability are the bigger issues, not speed.
