It depends how you are booking. We booked the 17 day May cruise from Seattle and paid $200 pp refundable deposit and selected our own cabin. I believe if you book a guarantee cabin that the deposit is non refundable

If you are booking the minimum cabin category on a GTY (IF, OZ, OF, BF, MF, etc) the deposit is non-refundable, if booking a higher cabin category and choosing room at booking the deposit should be refundable until final payment.  Sounds like your TA is confused maybe.

I’m curious about the $200 deposit. Has anybody been able to reserve the 22 day cruise on the Ruby for a $200 deposit? When I tried to book it this morning it was showing as an $800 deposit. TIA.

It says on the website if it’s refundable.  Check your cabin and price, as it should say above the price.  You choose a cabin is usually refundable deposit.

That is the deposit amount I see in Princess too. I have not seen $200 deposit.

Yes, I'm booked on the 22 day on the Ruby.  My CVP applied the promo to my hold yesterday and now I'm fully deposited and booked. 

 

I too saw the $800 deposit when I put my cabin on hold.  Emailed my CVP and she told me about promo and applied it, then I paid the $200 with the cruise persionalizer and received my booking confirmation. 

 

Folks might want to check with their CVP to apply the promo.   TA's might or might not have access to the promo?  My recommendation is to ask.

I would just like to say thank you Havedogwilltravel for this information , I booked today a aft balcony on deck 11 , my travel agent had to go hunting for the cruise on princess because they are not out fully over here but at least I got a price and a aft balcony on deck 11 sheltered I think , so roll on 2025 .

My deposit today was £1693 so a lot more than you guys pay but we have flights involved but no hotel packages yet because it’s so early she said they have not put together a package. But I’m very happy we have booked today.
