what to see in or outside of Rome.

We will be over there in October. So far we have seen or we will be visiting:

Coliseum, Vatican, Spanish steps, pantheon, Trevi fountain, Amalfi Coast, Florance, Senia, Orvieto, Venice, lake Bracciano and Castle.

We have an extra day, so we can go where we want. More than likely going to hire a driver/guide.

What have people done if they have seen alot ( a relative term, I know) before and want to see something else while staying in Rome?

What about Tivoli?

 

In Rome -- Capitoline Museum, Borghese Gallery, Baths of Caracalla, Museum of the Imperial Forums, Scavi Tour (Vatican), Castel Sant'Angelo. Just off the top of my head. Ostia as suggested above is another good idea.
