Fort Lauderdale trolley

We have not sailed out of port Everglades for some years.  There used to be a cute little trolley we used to ride.  Does this still exist or is it a thing of the past?

I have used the trolley daily while in FLL.  I called Best Western Oceanside and asked about the new shuttle services to see if there was a stop near the hotel.  The receptionist had not heard about the shuttle.  She advise to have the website and ask at the front desk when we get there.

 

I hope by the time we get there that someone will know about the shuttle.

Thanks for the link PacnGoNow.  The shuttle looks nowhere near as cute as the trolley - so sad.

We were given the same answer when we stayed at the BW. To go to 17th St shops, cross over the road and there is a bus stop. To go to the beach or Galleria turn left out of the hotel and there is bus stop close by. Bus is free.

Thanks, it looks like the new shuttle stops at the regular bus #40 stops.

 

We would take the trolley to go dinner then take #40 bus back for a $1.

Exactly. Worked well for us and plan to do the same when we stay there next time.

But it is air conditioned and free (not that the old Sun Trolley was very expensive)!

Anyone know if the trolly will take me to one of the water taxi stops?  I’ll be staying at the Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port.

The 17th Street and Eisenhower Blvd is a short one block walk to the Hilton Marina stop under the 17th St. bridge.
