Hello, I sailing with a family member on there casino offer. (free OV just pay port fees) My family member has gotten ill and may not be able to sail.  What is the best thing I can do?  We really do not want to cancel, and of course we do not want to lose any money, even though its a little.

I'm also not wanting to break the law. I will toss in, I would really still like to go.  🙂 Thanks.

If they don’t sail then you can’t either.  The primary occupant must sail whether it is a casino offer or a fully paid offer .  Sorry that happened to you

Hmm - just wondering - if the primary party doesn’t cancel and if the OP is willing to pay their port charges…could they just say the other party is coming later?

Or at at a later port?  OP would have to be willing to pay the person’s port charges though - not sure - just a thought.

Recently when booking a three person room for next fall we were forced to make the decision who would be the “lead”.  If the lead backs out the other two wouldn’t be able to sail.  This comes up often for us as I don’t know who is sailing - my DH, my sis or both. They both have a perpetual casino discount but not me.  As to casino offers they are person specific and I guess you could be really sneaky and board and say the other person is coming later  but that sounds risky to me.

Just a thought.  I’ve always been primary and just asking.

didn’t mean to imply being sneaky
