Oceania Vista Wifi 2 logins in cabin

Here's a fun fact I called to confirm. If you board the ship before October 1, you don't get any of the perks when October 1 rolls around. And you can't change to Simply More either. It is only available to those whose cruise starts after October 1. We board Vista in Montreal on September 29 so we get none of the new perks nor can we change to get them. 😡

It clearly states for cruises embarking after 01OCT so would not expect to receive any of the perks on our cruise 29SEP.....

I know that but...2 days. Come on. 13 days of our 15 day cruise are in October.

I agree with you  but  when we booked  SM was not  announced yet 

We do cruise only anyway

The excursions ,  the 2 nd wifi  are of no interest to us

Free wine with dinner  would work   but  it is not a deal breaker  at this point

I will just pick up some extra bottles of wine along the way 😉

Be thankful you are not on a longer cruise that start the end of Sept  🙂

Or maybe  we will get  a surprise  Oct 1st 😃

We just got off Vista. To login, you give your first and last name and date of birth.  Both my husband and I used my name and sign in since we were only entitled to one complementary login. We took turns signing on.

Just received our cruise docs for our 10/17 cruise and it clearly shows that as of Oct 1, 2 logins are provided per stateroom and each can be used on 1 device at a time.

Did you sign up for  SM or do you have the  O Life deal?

We had OLife, did not convert it to SM.

I think I read for cruises such as ours that starts Sept 29th to Oct 14th will still only get one login.

2 logons begin when someone onboard manually updates the server parameters.  Keyword: "manually".

 

If you care for something else to worry about, worry whether O pays to increase the ship's committed bandwidth from Starlink.
