They always are, but I solve that problem by putting the fries on the stone after I "cook" the steak (about one minute per side). The stone is plenty hot still after I'm done with it so the fries stay nice and crispy even if it's cold out.

Perhaps we should all have a stone in the main dining room as the fries are never piping hot. 😁

When I cook the steak the fries don't have enough time to get cold!

I love hot rocks. My steak is always cooked perfectly just as the cook and I like it.😉

I just ask them to bring out hot fries separately. But I do like the idea of grilled fries.😄
