We have a cruise down under in the new year and have been following various threads on this and finally some good news!

I wonder if the bookings will suddenly go up?

Doubt it, cruises to the islands and NZ last year were pretty full so I don't know why they would go up. To go out of Brisbane cruises get pretty heavily discounted anyway.

Its good of them to catch up , only one year late .

Pollies saw they were rewarded for their abundance of caution early on, so continued to stick with that long past it being overdue.

We have the honour of being the last in the world to remove the restrictions, even after other very cautious countries.
