We were looking at exactly the same, completely sold out already! 🥲

Sounds like Oceania in suite class; those for our 2025 TA have been gone for months; this will be my first cruise with them.  All the rest of my cruises are on Celebrity and are booked immediate when released!

Well I’m home again but unfortunately brought Covid with me, I didn’t feel poorly on board but travelling on Saturday things started to change. Tired, achy, sore throat and temperature so I just went to bed for a couple of hours and Covid tested when I woke. The funny thing about it is I only ventured outside YC twice once for dinner and the second to pop to the store on deck 6.

We heard there was a small outbreak outside YC but I wonder if people in YC were not letting anyone know they were unwell, I usually ate with 2/3 different couples most nights and none of them were showing any symptoms. There was a couple at breakfast on Thursday morning and I wanted to tell him “use a tissue blow your nose”as he sniffed all through breakfast .

Discovered a new to me vodka Beluga, very nice drink

The butlers are exceptional and escorted me right into the baggage hall, there we 5 in our group. So we will see what Edge brings at the end of October.

Our neighbours were on your cruise (not in the YC) both tested positive for Covid on arriving home.

I’m interested in how they feel as this seems worse than the Covid I had 18 months ago. Also had to postpone Covid and flu jabs for the end of the week.

They were both shattered Sat/Sun - said it was like the jet lag they suffer after a flight back from the US. Now isolating.

I’m sad that Covid is still a factor in choosing to cruise — or not. But, as I recall, non-Yacht Club accommodations on MSC are rather crowded and tight. Perfect storm for any disease spread. The YC was not that way at all when we cruised there. The experience was rather like that on Silversea or Regent. I’ve been following this thread, and I’m glad that otherwise the OP enjoyed the YC; in that Celebrity Retreat cruising has priced itself out of my market

Sorry that you caught Covid , I had family that had same thing on celebrity apex at very end of cruise. Thanks for great info on Yacht Club, definitely want to sail that again.

here s to a speedy recovery emmas gran.  .  Darn covid.   People are not testing and this virus wont go away.    Maybe a vodka Beluga will help kill da germs. 😄

Really enjoyed your posts
