I can't help but notice the huge difference between how elegantly meals are plated, and how tatty the street scene, particularly all the signage is.  Does this say something about a nation's personality?   Not being a psychologist, I wouldn't know.

Now off to the Gamcheon Cultural Village. Some love this place. The influencers, tik tokkers and instagrammers are everywhere and I just think it is a tourist trap. Didn't do anything for me.

lunch at the pool deck. decided to try the rotisserie of the day. Turkey breast which was very dry and flavourless. Rojaan stuck to the Caesar salad with chicken and their version of a mess.

I began with the Penne.It was nice.

 

Rojaan began with the Tortino ai funghi. She was disappointed.

 

 

I then had the Saltimbooca which was fine.I had the tomato soup as well.

 

Rojaan had the prawns which were nice.

 

She then had I think that she had the cassata and I the cheese plate. No gorgonzola on the whole ship.

The next day was a sea day going around Southern Korea to Incheon. Some views.

 

 

 

 

 

Lunch was in Kaiseki. Rojaan's platter.

We both started with the Crab 3 ways.

 

I then had the pumpkin soup followed by the Fillet. Rojaan again had the lamb.

It’s not a diaper, but a wine label!  Thank goodness for zoom on my phone, or I’d have thought otherwise.

I liked the red and Rojaan liked the white. Though both of us just drink wines we like.

I've had the Colosi Nero d'Avola a few times. It's available at the big wine warehouse store in Albany for about $12. Not a bad wine for the price.

When I saw its origin, I figured you had tried it.  Someday I’ll get over there to explore the region’s wines.

I adore sunsets and sunrises on a cruise!  One of my favourite activities is trying to capture the glory.  You did a spectacular job capturing these!
