Casino question

We will be sailing on the Radiance later this month.  I haven't been on a RCL cruise in a long time (only once), and I was wondering...

Does the casino use your SeaPass card or do they issue a separate card to be used in the casino?

Seapass goes in the machine.  I can’t speak for anything but slots.  Some ships you tap the slot machine but I haven’t sailed on one like that yet.

You give you seapass to the dealer at table games to get credit for your play.

You put your seapass into the slot machines to earn credit.

You don't need to use a card at table games. You can use cash if you prefer.

They use the seapass card to track your play at tables.  You can use cash or charge to your room to pay.  I usually start with cash but later in the cruise, they have all my cash and I use my card for more play.  Slots are the same.  If you change to a different slot, the remaining $ on your machine can be transferred to your Seapass account and used on a new machine.

For table games, if you want credit, you give them your card.  That is separate from playing.

 

If you want to put the play on your account, the pit boss does a paper receipt that you sign and put into the cash box.  They charge 5% for charging play to your account.

The 5% fee is not charged if you are Prime or above (Casino Tier).
