Question about Port Canaveral as a Port day??

We are sailing on the Oasis in 2 weeks.  One of the stops is Port Canaveral.  We would like to meet friends who live in Florida for lunch.  Is there a way for them to pick us up near the ship???

Yes.  Very easy.  You can meet them at the terminal.  If they can't pull into the drop off area, you can meet them outside.  Just like people meet Uber's.

Oasis should be going into Terminal 1 based on the port schedule, so really easy to get picked up there.  We meet family there many times when we sail out of Bayonne and if we are coming into Terminal 1, many times they will wait for us at Grills restaurant, outside at the Tiki bar.  They usually get there early to see the ship come in.  It is a two minute walk for you once you come out of the terminal, just take a right and you can see the restaurants in The Cove beside the terminal.  Fishlips is another one of them that people like to go to.

Nice catch mema!  The OP did say Port Canaveral was a "stop."  And the OP is from NY state.

This has been our experience too on our 2 Oasis cruises out of NJ.
