mcrcruiser Posted October 14, 2023 #27 Share Posted October 14, 2023 We did origami on Koningsdam is December 2022 ,our last cruise . It was focused on rose flower petals opening up . Neat colored papers were used . Origami is a skill ,We think woud take quite a while to master & do with out instruction We also had waiters on Koningsdam on a 9 night Caribbean cruise during St Patricks say 2019 .These fellas were pros on just about any image , They left all of them with us .Of course we tipped them because they really were very good Our next cruise hopefully is Nov 2024 on this ship
Baabaaa Posted October 14, 2023 #28 Share Posted October 14, 2023 I started doing paint by numbers during the pandemic. Now I always bring one or two on a long cruise to fill up some of my free time and keep me out of the casino! I’m no artist but I enjoy painting them. 🙂
Rare TiogaCruiser Posted October 14, 2023 #29 Share Posted October 14, 2023 I attended the watercolor class on volendam last April. It was free. We watched a video ( I think it was a HAL video) on how to get pigment to flow off the brush. We got 2 dots of watercolor pigment to work with and the project was a jellyfish. No color theory, nothing but a quick introduction to applying watercolor to paper.
