Rare wolft927 Posted November 3, 2023 #1 Share Posted November 3, 2023 So, We are Sailing out on the Escape on January 6th but driving in on Friday the 5th. Wife and I along with another couple that are cruising with us would like to find a nice Bar/Restaurant where we can sit out on the deck enjoy some drinks and maybe food as well while the ships sail out of Port Canaveral. I am sure this has been asked before but would love some recommendations. Thanks.

KINGBOBOFTHENORTH Posted November 4, 2023 #5 Share Posted November 4, 2023 Every ship departing the port sails past Grills (except Royal Caribbean which is just beyond Grills). Check the port website for sailing times on your date because some ships sail as early as 4PM and of course on some dates, there are zero sailings. Thanks, I have already checked the port schedule and that Friday there are 5 ships leaving, Starting as early as 3:30pm. After a 7.5 hour drive from Charlotte NC, we will enjoy some food and drinks to officially kick off our vacations. 60 days till we leave for Port Canaveral

EatonDoolittle Posted November 6, 2023 #8 Share Posted November 6, 2023 (edited) You could always make a picnic out of Publix's grab and go or deli section and sit out at Jetty Park with the campers and locals. All ships will pass you just before they head out to sea. It always seems like a fun group when I have seen them from onboard. At Grills, you will just be looking at the aft of whatever Royal Caribbean giant is docked at CT1 Edited November 6, 2023 by EatonDoolittle
