SpaceX Starlink is now active on Viking Sky...

We received the following notice in our suites yesterday:

 

This morning the Speedtest app shows we're on SpaceX Starlink.  Performance numbers don't mean much right now as it appears they're still tweaking the system.

We were on Venus,  14th - 28th October and had virtually no live  TV throughout except for scrambled / pixelated.  Usually just message that it was not available.  The internet wasn’t too bad though.  I wonder if Venus was awaiting an update.  We did not get the letter that the OP posted.  
 

Perhaps those on Venus might let us know if it has been updated and is working .

I thought all VO ships had it. I saw the starlink antennas were on VO Sea last jan.

We were on Saturn in July and running speed test showed: 1) we were on starlink (I'd spotted the MANY antenna already) and the bandwidth was POOR to be nice. SPEEDTEST typically showed under 10 mbps downloads .....WAY UNDER .....

Does anyone know if Jupiter has Starlink? We sail on it shortly.

I believe all the Viking Ocean and Expedition ships have Starlink. Bandwidth will vary greatly depending on where on Earth you are located. Polar / high latitude regions have less coverage. 
 

From the Star in January, in the Mediterranean, we were getting 180 Mbps, from Octantis at the tip of South America it was 20.

We got no TV coverage on Venus in October in the Med.

I was going to ask about TV, from what I've seen. I'm fairly sure TV is still using the regular geo sats, nothing to do with starlink.

We're in the eastern Med right now.  No issues with TV reception before or after the upgrade.
