Changing excursion to different time for same price?

Say there is an excursion that starts at 10:30 am or 12 noon and I want to change it to the later time.  Has anyone done that without a price change?  They are not currently the same price.

You need to cancel the early one  and book the noon one.

The money of the canceled shore excursion will return to the original form of payment

Have you tried calling to see if they can switch it.  I would think that is the logical first step

maybe X can  make the swirch and adjust pricing???

 

if not, I'd book the new choice and then  cancel the orig..can do in cruise planner

On board at the excursion desk, I think they would be able to keep it at the same price and cancel and rebook.  That would assume the new time is still available when you get onboard.

if its a popular excursion  take care ahead of time..

I have done it in the past.  You need to go to the shore excursions desk and ask them to change it for you.   If the one you want is sold out they can put you on a waitlist. 

 

If in a suite the Concierge may be able to take care of it for you.
