Dave is under the weather and hasn’t been seen.

the casino last night was the busiest we have ever seen

Yes! My Dave wanted to watch the Bills game last night and the casino was a zoo! But so was the martini bar between theatre shows. However we did enjoy rocking out to all the queen songs with Angela on the mic 🤘

After dinner last night we managed to grab a couple of chairs at the martini bar and settled in for some adult beverages.

We checked a few times to see if we could snag a seat at the casino so Dave could watch the Bills game, but it just kept getting busier and they didn’t have the volume on on any of the tvs, so I went and got an ipad to stream the game. We have upgraded to premium internet but couldn’t get the game to stream 👎 It seems like the internet onboard is very, very spotty and unreliable compared to the other ships we’ve been on.

We ended up coming back to our cabin to watch the game. We angled the tv our towards the balcony and turned our chairs around to watch it with our balcony door open

We slept in this morning and are now enjoying some coffee and treats from cafe al bacio on our balcony. No plans for today! It’s a sea day, so we expect the pool deck to be a place we’ll avoid 😹

On a different note, does anyone know what these barrels are for? Or what’s inside them? They’re strapped to the side of the ship in front of the lifeboats. Just curious……

Those are large inflatable rafts. They are set up to automatically launch if the ship sinks to supplement the lifeboat capacity.

Thanks! We definitely didn’t have inflatable raft as a possibility

In your travels if you happen to pass the fitness center would it be possible to see if the Peleton bikes are still there? There has recently been a recall on some of the bike and I’m wondering if it’s affecting their availability.  Using the Peleton on board is the one thing my wife is looking forward to as she’s on her’s every day.

I’m sure he was happy to miss the end of that game!

Right. Terrible way to lose especially after the Broncos missed the FG. Uggh. Well he’s in a good place to drown his sorrows.

Just got off the Reflection on November 2. Are Angela and Dave Clarke still the CD and Activity Manager ? We just loved them.

We were on the same transatlantic as you and also loved Angela and Dave. The rest of the activities team were, let's say, underwhelming.

We swung by the fitness center and yes, they have 5 peletons in the main area as well as several in a separate room. We asked the attendant about these and said that as long as there are no classes going on you can use them as well

We just finished the best meal we’ve had at sea! Murano for the win 🏆

We started with a seared piece of tuna with eel sauce, followed by lobster bisque. For our main course we ordered medium rare chateaubriand and lobster.

Was the seared tuna an added special? I don’t see it on the printed menu. I’ll be onboard in three weeks and have reservations for Murano for the first night.

It wasn’t on the menu but they brought them out for everyone dining last night. Said it was a special treat from the chef

I’ll be boarding the Reflection after Thanksgiving. Do you know if they are offering Luggsge Valet service from the ship to the airport? It was a service we enjoyed last month on Equinox.

No. Sorry. I don’t

We spent most of the afternoon on the fifth floor deck enjoying the peace and quiet and watching the brown footed boobies draft off the side of the ship and dive down into the water to catch fish.
We then spent some time at the passport bar before heading up to the sunset bar to listen to the solo guitarist’s set before heading to the martini bar for pre-dinner drinks with friends.

Tonight was chic night, but we didn’t feel like getting dressed up, so we headed to the ovc for a quick dinner.
I had both shrimp and fish ceviche for a starter and then ordered a spicy stir fry for my main course. Both were delicious!
We wondered back down to the passport bar and enjoyed the production cast performance called ‘masque’ in the grand foyer. It was like a mini ’Bridgerton’ show and was very good!
we finished our night at the martini bar before heading back to our cabin to enjoy some time on the balcony
