Hello, friends. Does anyone know if there is still a poker table in the casino for nightly cash games? Thanks so much.

Cannot comment on the Bliss but have sailed Getaway, Encore & Breakaway in the last 18 mos.

There was no poker table on any of these.

They DID have TX Hold Em tournaments but they were held at regular table game tables (so 6 seats).

We did Poker cruise on Getway in 2019 then again on the Encore last Dec.

They ALSO had these smaller daily tournaments on the regular table game tables.

(the large main tournament had a designated space & actual poker tables)

On all NCL ships that have a casio tehy ogger Hold' em.  Howeve the rake is a whopping 10% and the play level is a tad sketchu.  There will always be that oen guya the tabek who makes an absurdly large bet if it chkecks or limps around to hjm.  It is very ,ucm NOT like teh quality poker you find in most casinos.

I've been on the Joy, Jade and Epic in the last 18 months and all have had a poker table.  Yes, the rake is Very High, but the games are usually a lot of fun (and the level of skill fairly low).

Odd how different the ships are!

On Prima next month so that will be interesting to see how they are.

I am sure that you missed them on these ships.  I have sailed on all of these also within the last 2 years and they all had one table in the casino.  I play 5-6 hours a night 2-3 times during the cruise.  I can usually pay for the cruise during this time if the players are right, just wait for your spots.  The rake is indeed high at 10% but it is capped at $25.

I have been on all of the poker finals cruises so I am sure that we bumped into each other at some point.  Last month's was the best one so far think.

Haven't been on the Bliss, but all 8 other NCL ships I've been on had a poker table that is used for evening cash games (assuming they get enough players) and is also used for their poker tournaments....which, BTW, have absurd re-buys and quickly escalating blinds.  As mentioned in the drunk text above, it's a mess with a lot of unhinged players looking to catch whatever they can.

Takes a lot of patience and adaptability to plow through it.

The most accurate description of the cash games I’ve read.  And, once you separate the drunks and idiots from the players, you’ll eventually find the good players!

Don’t play the tournaments because of the rebuy allowances.  Have put players out multiple times only to have them rebuy and come back in!
