I stayed the same. I'm glad, have been eating more.

Tomorrow have Christmas with the "kids" since I'll be

gone. So, trying to clean house and fix some food for the day.

Going out to dinner at night.

Where was everyone Friday? Jan you didn't come back in either.

 

Today had Christmas with the "kids".  Open gifts, ate different "munchies",

played games. Listen to Christmas music. Then in evening went out for

a steak dinner to our favorite place. Nice day was had by all.

It’s a beautiful day in Houston.   I’m feeling better mentally  -  still not much improvement in blood pressure Has been 165/70 all day my med has been increased  from 25 mg to 50mg and last week to 100mg .   Also will have cataract surgery in my good eye early next year.  Jazzper is hanging in there took me on a 2 mile walk this morning.   Nor sure when I’ll weigh.

Hello all. I am officially on Christmas break, no classes until January!

 

I have stayed the same since I last checked in. Whew, all of the holiday gatherings are rough for making healthy food choices. 🫢 We had my husband's family gathering today, and I was proud of myself for eating only ONE of my favorite holiday cookies! (my deceased mother-in-law's recipe for date balls...so good!) 

 

Anyway, I plan to focus on more water and less food 😁 this week, and hopefully getting back to walking. My leg seems to be less bothersome so I may start out with shorter distances and see how it goes.

I'm doing alright just not doing the things I should be doing. Rainy day slept late.

Only done a few of the things I need to do. Do you think I should get off the

Computer?

Belle, glad you had a good Christmas with your "kids" ... love family time.

 

DH had a work office party on Friday .... we had a good time.  Sunday we took the whole family to see the play "A Christmas Carol" and then out to dinner .... everyone was there and it was a great time!

 

I believe that I have gained some weight .... but, will weigh in next week.

Hope everyone has a good Monday and rest of the week too. We're

suppose to have rain next 4 days. I have to go out one day in it. Hate that.

Least it's not snow. I couldn't live in snow, nice to visit but not to live.

Can't believe I missed a whole week - where had the time gone? I weighed myself last Fri and was down .2, not much but better than a gain.

We had been without power for 2 1/2 days ... It is back now - It wasn't too bad it was high 40's- low 50's out, so the house didn't cool down too much.  Not taking showers wasn't fun.  So many people still do not have power - my daughter and family might be staying here tonight.  There was over 400,000 people who lost power and it isn't excepted to be completely restored until after Christmas.
